Today

Continuing the Mission

Ray of Hope continues to provide love, care and hope to babies and toddlers in crisis across the KwaZulu-Natal region.

Our Mission

To provide a loving, safe and nurturing transition home for abandoned, neglected and vulnerable babies and toddlers in KwaZulu-Natal — caring for the whole child while working towards permanent, loving placements.

Love

Every baby in our care is treated with unconditional love and affection, because love is the foundation of healthy development.

Safety

We provide a secure and stable environment where every child is protected from harm and feels truly at home.

Hope

We believe every baby's story is not defined by how it started, but by the care and possibilities that lie ahead.

Community

Our home is sustained by a generous community of donors, volunteers, churches and supporters who share our vision.

Our Team

Nadia is the house mother who is in charge of all that happens in the day-to-day running of the home. She is passionate about the work and absolutely loves the babies. In addition, we have a day caregiver, alternating night duty caregivers, a weekend day caregiver, as well as volunteers who come in and give assistance.
